Over 31 percent of local voters have cast a ballot in the November General Election.

Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis said the 27,393 ballots that have been received is 1.34 percent ahead of the participation rate for the same point in the 2018 November General Election.

As of Wednesday, the county has 88,098 registered voters which makes Douglas the 9th largest county in Oregon, by number of voters and population.

Loomis said voters that have not received a ballot should contact or visit the County Elections Office. Ballots can be mailed in or returned to one of the 15 drop sites in the county. The list of locations is linked: https://douglascounty-oregon.us/179/Official-Drop-Site-Locations
