Troopers with the Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division are seeking the public’s assistance after a cow was shot in a field.

A release said on October 31st at approximately 11:00 p.m. OSP was notified by a landowner of the incident in his field on Boomer Road near Myrtle Creek. The landowner said he had been called by one of his neighbors around 6:00 p.m. The man called OSP after finding the cow in his field down and unable to move. The animal died several hours later.
