A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended through 8:00 p.m. Wednesday for mountain areas in portions of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the Advisory area includes Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, the South Central and Southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains, and for portions of the highways in those areas.

Snow showers with additional accumulations of up to 2 inches are expected.

Drivers should plan on slippery conditions, as travel could be difficult.
