Nearly 24 percent of registered voters in Douglas County have cast a ballot in the November General Election.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said 20,880 ballots have been received, which is 2.64 percent ahead of the participation rate for the same point in the 2018 November General Election.

Loomis said it is now one week away from Election Day. Registered voters who have not received a ballot should contact or visit the Elections Office. There is still time to mail ballots in. They can also be taken to one of the many official drop sites around the county. A list of locations is linked at: https://douglascounty-oregon.us/178/Elections

Ballots are due back by Tuesday November 8th at 8:00 p.m.
