Members of a number of local veteran’s organizations are planning a “Save the VA” picket for Friday.

Bill Duncan is the chair of a local group concerned about the level of services being provided by the Roseburg VA. Duncan and others have disseminated information to most local veteran’s group regarding the event and a significant number of veterans and their supporters are expected.

Organizers say veterans can gather along Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard near the main entrance to the Roseburg VA starting at 10:30 a.m. The picket will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
