The driver was cited following a single vehicle accident on Wednesday.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 8:40 a.m. a pickup was southbound on Interstate 5 in the right lane of travel about a mile north of Myrtle Creek when the female operator lost control for an unknown reason on the wet pavement. The vehicle struck the center barrier, which caused a large amount of nails to be thrown into the roadway.

No one was injured. The driver was cited for not having insurance.
