FROST ADVISORY FOR EARLY THURSDAY

October 26, 2022 5:50 a.m.

A Frost Advisory remains in effect from 3:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation.

The Advisory area includes the southern portions of the Umpqua Valley, along with most of the Rogue, Illinois, and Applegate valleys, plus eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. A few colder spots along the hills could see temperatures reach the freezing mark.
