Rain and hail led to a number of vehicle accidents on Interstate 5 northbound Saturday afternoon.

At least four wrecks took place in just over twenty minutes starting shortly before 1:10 p.m. in an area about a mile south of the Winchester exit. An Oregon State Police report said that included a sedan that was unable to stop due to the heavy hail. It rear-ended a Jeep. No one was injured. Information was not available for the other accidents.
