Roseburg Police jailed a man on sex crime charges on Thursday.

An RPD report said officers learned of an internet-based conversation between 55-year old Christopher Ronan and a 12-year old female. An investigation into the matter led to Ronan’s arrest for the crimes. He was charged with a second-degree count of online sexual corruption of a child and for luring a minor. Ronan was detained without bail.
