The application deadline for being in the upcoming Veteran’s Day Parade is approaching.

Those who want to take part must apply by October 31st.

This year’s Grand Marshals will be U.S. Navy submariners, an elite force that has been protecting the nation’s shores and ships since 1918.

The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on November 11th. It will start forming at the corner of Southeast Douglas Avenue and Southeast Fowler Streets, traveling toward Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard before turning south on Southeast Jackson Street and returning north on Southeast Main Street.

Following the parade, the submariners will take their float to the Roseburg Regional Airport, where it will be on display.
