Assistant Fire Chief Tyler Christopherson said the apparatus bays and back parking lot will be open to the public. Those attending can meet local firefighters, spray water from a fire hose, see a fire engine up close, learn about fire safety, and meet Sparky the Fire Dog. Christopherson said there will be free goodie bags for the kids.

Free hot dogs, refreshments and cake will be available.
