UNHEALTHY AIR CONTINUES IN ROSEBURG

Air quality in Roseburg continues to be unhealthy as of mid-day Monday.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality registered the air quality level at 152 at 11:00 a.m. At 4:00 a.m. it was at 153, so has changed little throughout the day. Drift smoke from the Cedar Creek Fire, near Oakridge, is contributing to the issue.

Roseburg has one of the unhealthiest air quality levels in Oregon. At 11:00 a.m. Eugene registered 195, which is also classified as unhealthy. At that time, Oakridge registered an air quality level of 509, which is considered hazardous.
