The deadline is approaching for getting registered to vote in the November General Election.

Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis said residents must be registered by October 18th. Registration can be done online: https://sos.oregon.gov/voting/Pages/registration.aspx?lang=en

A registration form can also be filled out and returned to the county elections office: https://sos.oregon.gov/elections/Documents/SEL500.pdf

Loomis said October 20th is when the bulk mailing of ballots will occur. General election ballots are due back by November 8th.
