As Roseburg turns 150 years old on Monday, staff with the City of Roseburg are inviting those celebrating at Roseburg 150 Sesquicentennial events throughout October to share their photos and help preserve memories.

Staff collaborated to create a way to submit photos for six events, including the Roseburg 150 Party in the Park, the Roseburg 150 Fun Run/Walk, the Sesquicentennial Time Capsule Ceremony, Blocktober Fest, the 150th Birthday Dinner at the Elks Lodge, and the Neewollah Parade.

A release said photos submitted will be microfilmed for permanent retention in color as well as in black and white, then archived in the city vault and with the Oregon State Archives.

Photos submitted by October 17th might be featured in the October City Connection e-newsletter. Residents are asked to submit one photo per event using this form: https://www.cityofroseburg.org/roseburg-turns-150-photos-submission
