Greater Douglas United Way, Thrive Umpqua and the United Community Action Network are working with other organizations to hold Make a Difference Day on Saturday October 22nd.

Organizers are asking groups to sign up to help on a four-hour project. This can be a family, co-workers, an organization, church or other type of group. They will be assigned to a specific project which is happening that day. Make a Difference Day is designed to serve the community and families in need, cultivate civility, kindness and respect, and promote pride and personal ownership of the community.
