A woman was hospitalized following a freeway wreck Wednesday morning.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 7:35 a.m. a northbound SUV was slowing due to a previous crash when it was rear-ended by a pickup towing a utility trailer near the fairgrounds interchange.

The SUV sustained heavy rear-end damage while the pickup received moderate front-end damage. The operator of the SUV was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson. Her vehicle was towed away. The driver of the pickup was issued a warning by OSP.
