Feeding Umpqua, part of the United Community Action Network, will have a free produce giveaway on October 6th and again on October 20th.

Program Manager Sarah McGregor said it will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. unless the produce runs out before that time. McGregor said the produce is available to anyone that qualifies for emergency food. That includes those receiving SNAP or energy assistance benefits.

The produce will be given out in the parking lot of the Oregon Department of Human Services, at 738 West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.
