ROSEBURG GETS TO 92 DEGREES, NOT A RECORD

September 27, 2022 4:00 a.m.

For the second day in a row, it was unusually warm in Roseburg for the date, but just missed being a record high temperature.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said it got to 92 degrees Monday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record for September 26th is 95 degrees, set in 2016.

Highs are slated to drop about ten degrees on Tuesday with an afternoon high of 81 expected. There is a chance of showers Wednesday with a high in the low 70s forecast. A slight chance of showers is possible Thursday with highs remaining in the 70s. Friday through Monday conditions warm back up into the 80’s, just in time for Roseburg’s sesquicentennial events to begin.
