While Roseburg enjoyed a warm sunny afternoon on Sunday, it was not quite a record high for the date.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said it got to 88 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record for September 25th was 91 degrees, set in 1952.

Monday should be another sunny fall day with a high of 90 degrees expected. It won’t be a record high either as the hottest September 26th in Roseburg was in 2016, when it got to 95 degrees.

Roseburg is expected to drop to the mid 80’s on Tuesday and the mid 70’s by Wednesday.
