The Roseburg Senior Center on Southeast Stephens Street will open as a cooling center Friday and Saturday.

A City of Roseburg release said the building is open Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Two meals will be served each day.

The cooling center can use donations of ice, water, sundries, soft snacks, and easy-to-chew fresh fruit. Socks and underwear of all sizes, for both women and men is needed as well.
