In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

UCC Performing and Visual Arts is presenting the Music Educators Extravaganza Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Swanson Amphitheatre on the campus of Umpqua Community College.

The event will feature local secondary school music educators performing with the UCC music faculty. It will include performances by band and choir directors from Roseburg, Sutherlin, South Umpqua, Douglas, North Douglas, Phoenix and Camas Valley high schools, and from Fremont and Joseph Lane middle schools.

The concert will have a wide range of musical styles including classical, jazz and Americana. The audience can bring their own chair or blankets for the outdoor event.
