In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Roseburg Folklore Society is presenting the first hometown music festival on Saturday.
The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the outdoor stage of the Umpqua Valley Arts Center on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.
The festival will feature six local music groups including: Umpqua Jam, Winds of Umpqua flute circle, Roseburg Concert Chorale, Oregon Bluegrass Association – Roseburg Chapter, Old Time Fiddlers and an RFS song circle.
RFS President Marnie Albritten said those attending should bring a chair or blanket. Admission is free. Memberships will be available and donations will be accepted.
