September 7, 2022 9:20 a.m.

Temperatures are in the 80s and 90s on the Windigo, Potter and Big Swamp fires.

An update from Northwest Incident Management Team 9 said winds may be up to 10-20 miles per hour, with gusts up to 25 miles per hour.

Three of the four fires are contained. With continued warm temperatures and dry conditions, fire resources will continue to patrol these fires looking for any heat sources that can pose a threat to containment lines.  The Potter Fire is 99 percent contained. Crews will also continue to focus on suppression repair work, road grading and hazard tree abatement.

On the Windigo Fire, crews continued suppression repair and are expected to complete road repair this week. Brushing work should be completed soon on the Potter Fire. Crews completed the chipping of brush to the 54 Road on the Big Swamp Fire. Patrol continues on the Camel Hump Fire.

334 people are working on the fires.
