Hot weather continues for the Windigo, Potter and Big Swamp fires.

An update from Northwest Incident Management Team 9 said near critical fire weather is expected again on Thursday, with above average temperatures over the weekend.

Chipping operations are nearing completion on the Windigo Fire with heavy equipment set to move to the Big Swamp Fire. On the Potter Fire, suppression activities continue along the fire edge, utilizing sprinkler systems. Local firefighter resources are on patrol on the Camel Hump Fire.

There is no change to acreage totals or containment levels on any of these fires.
