COUNTY COVID-19 CASES DROP 28 PERCENT IN LAST WEEK

COVID-19 cases in Douglas County have dropped 28 percent in the last week.

Data from the Douglas Public Health Network said the county recorded 189 cases of the virus in the week ending on Wednesday. That compares to 262 cases the previous week.

1 more person died related to COVID-19 in the past week. 409 local residents have now died related to the virus, since the start of the pandemic. 21,703 cases of COVID-19 have been reported since January of 2020.
