Music on the Half Shell continues with Afrobeat music Tuesday night at the Nichol’s Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park.

Femi Kuti and The Positive Force began in 1986 and is still regarded at the forefront of the genre, expanding the music’s vocabulary by adding hints of punk and hip-hop to the sound.

The show begins at 7:00 p.m. Food trucks and other vendors will have dinner available, or those attending can bring their own meal, along with wine or beer. Concert goers can put blankets out early to hold their seat.

Music on the Half Shell continues its 30th anniversary season through August 9th.
