Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged theft incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:40 p.m. the 27-year old allegedly stole food from Safeway in the 1500 block of Southeast Stephens Street, and ate it inside the business. When confronted, she refused to leave.

The suspect was charged with third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $2,500.
