COVID-19 CLAIMS 24 MORE LIVES IN FOUR-DAY PERIOD

COVID-19 has claimed 24 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 7,635, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority covered data between Friday and Monday.

4,667 new cases of COVID-19 were reported statewide over the four-day period

The new cases include:

*1,258 in Multnomah County

*508 in Clackamas County

*395 in Lane County

*344 in Marion County

Locally, OHA reported 32 new cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County.

OHA said 303 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, and 29 of those were in intensive care unit beds.
