DOUGLAS COUNTY RECORDS 400TH COVID-19 RELATED DEATH

Douglas County has recorded its 400th COVID-19 related death.

A weekly recap from the Douglas County Board of Commissioners said four more COVID-19 related deaths have occurred in the past week. They included women who were 82 and 88 years of age, and men who were 70 and 86 years of age. Three were fully vaccinated but not up to date, while the other was not vaccinated.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in the county is now at 20,368. 19,407 are people that have received positive test results and 961 have been presumptive. Eight county patients are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and six of them are not fully vaccinated.
