A 46-year old man was jailed after a police chase on Monday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 4:15 p.m. the suspect was called in by several people as being disorderly in the 100 block of Molly Street in Glendale.

A deputy spotted the man in a store. When the deputy walked him out, the suspect took off. He was chased to a nearby creek where a taser was deployed. The suspect finally gave up and was taken into custody.

The report said the man faked a medical emergency so spent several hours at CHI Mercy Medical Center before he was cleared medically and could be taken to jail.

Dmitri Arapoff was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree escape, and for a parole violation. Arapoff was held without bail.
