Unofficial Preliminary Results released by the Douglas County Clerk’s Office just after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday show that two of three incumbent County Commissioners are heading back for another term in office, while the third is currently just under the required fifty percent threshold to keep the race from continuing on to the General Election.
Tom Kress received nearly seventy one percent of the vote. Challengers Diana Fletcher and Marcus Black followed with over twenty-one percent, and seven percent respectively.
Tim Freeman got nearly fifty-five percent of the vote to twenty-three percent for Valynn Currie and twenty-one percent for Brandy Stone.
Chris Boice is just shy of fifty percent of the vote. Challenger Michael Ruehle followed at nearly twenty percent. Bev Aston had eleven percent, Ashley Hicks with ten percent and Deuce Bohn with just under nine percent.
