The driver was cited following a high-speed crash on Interstate 5 Saturday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 6:30 p.m. a sedan was traveling northbound when the driver swerved because the vehicle in front of him hit the brakes. The driver rotated in the highway and hit the right shoulder barrier, before coming to stop in a lane of traffic.

A witness said the driver had passed her, was possibly going one-hundred miles per hour and had nearly hit her vehicle. She claimed the driver was reckless and had been weaving in and out of traffic. A citation for reckless driving was issued and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
