The annual state convention of the Oregon Oldtime Fiddler’s Association is scheduled for May 19th through the 21st at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg.

Several hundred people are expected to come from throughout the region. Events include a Thursday meet-and-greet, a Friday evening dance, Saturday afternoon show plus a band scramble, open mic, workshops and jam sessions on all three days.

The convention was held in Roseburg in the 1980s and 1990s, but has taken place in other parts of Oregon for the past decade. Convention co-chair Jude Stensland said “We’re so happy it’s returning to Roseburg”.
