The YMCA of Douglas County will have Healthy Kids Day on Saturday.

The celebration is part of a national event, happening at nearly 1,600 Y’s across the country. It aims to get more kids moving and learning, so they can keep the habit all summer long – a critical out-of-school time for kid’s health.

It will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will include lots of games and prizes, a bounce house, active play and educational activities, Smokey Bear, a REACH helicopter landing and much more. Those attending should enter through the Parkview Skating entrance.
