In the KQEN Business Spotlight:
In-N-Out is still in the initial stages of construction at its Roseburg location.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Denny Warnick told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that once the company breaks ground at a new location, it usually takes seven to eight months to build a restaurant and open it for business.
Warnick said that due to the amount of construction that needs to take place, it isn’t yet possible to nail down a precise opening date. Work on the property on Northwest Aviation Drive, just south of Home Depot, began around the end of January.
In-N-Out expects to employ around fifty newly hired associates when they open, and plans to continue to hire more as needed in the months that follow. Applications will be accepted four to six before the store opens. Up-to-date information on employment is posted at: https://www.in-n-out.com/employment
The company began as California’s first drive-through hamburger stand in 1948. It now operates at nearly 380 locations in seven states.
