ENROLLMENT FOR ROSEBURG PUBLIC SCHOOLS OPENS MONDAY

April 21, 2022 3:40 a.m.

Enrollment for Roseburg Public Schools opens next Monday for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.

Assistant Superintendent Michelle Knee said all new, returning and re-enrolling students will be required to enroll online to begin the registration process.

Knee said families are encouraged to begin updating their student’s enrollment information immediately. Online registration guides, documents and parent portal access can be found at: https://bit.ly/3vvkF3D. Knee said families should note a new form this year; enrolling families will need to acknowledge a student conduct and discipline policy prior to accessing online registration in ParentVue.

The RPS release said initial online enrollment is required for students in all grades. Final registration steps will occur in the fall.

Knee said the district has been working to strengthen and adjust virtual learning options to better meet the needs of students and families.

Roseburg Virtual School, a comprehensive online program taught by certified district teachers, will be expanding to include grades 6-8 next school year. High school students who prefer to learn online may still enroll with Roseburg High School and then apply for the school’s virtual option.

Knee said parents are encouraged to contact their child’s school with questions about the online enrollment and registration process.
