A Winston man was jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Monday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just after 4:00 p.m. a deputy was in the area of Carnes Road and Austin Road in Green after another deputy advised that an unknown passenger on a traffic stop had exited the vehicle and he was unable to identify him.

The same man was contacted after he was observed leaving the curb of a sidewalk and moving into the northbound lane of traffic on Carnes Road. He then allegedly crossed the southbound lanes, causing drivers to have to slow down to avoid hitting him. The man refused to identify himself and had no identification in his possession. He was detained for failure to carry and present, and for second-degree disorderly conduct and was transported to Corrections. Additional charges were added. Bail was set at $67,500.

He was later identified as 34-year old Matthew Isaacson
