COVID-19 CLAIMS 12 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 7,455, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 12 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 7,455, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,529 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the case total to 711,100. That is for county data reported between Friday and Sunday.

New cases include:

*574 in Multnomah County

*284 in Washington County

*140 in Clackamas County

*122 in Lane County

Locally, OHA reported 7 new cases in Douglas County.

OHA said 100 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized statewide, with 16 in ICU beds.
