A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 11:00 a.m. Monday for central Douglas County and nearby areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said southwest winds of fifteen to twenty-five miles per hour are expected with gusts up to forty-five miles per hour.

The Advisory area also includes Josephine County and eastern Curry County, including Camas Valley, the Sexton Summit, and portions of Interstate Five and highways 42 and 199.

Forecasters said gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Motorists should use extra caution, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
