The Roseburg City Council approved all items on its agenda on Monday night.
That included:
*An order terminating the declaration of emergency in the City due to the COVID-19 pandemic
*Approving naming the Navigation Center as the Gary Leif Navigation Center, in honor of the late state representative
*Authorized the City Manager to enter into two master agreements with Umpqua Health Alliance for a total of $300,000 in funding for the center
*Resolutions approving a property tax exemption for several properties owned by NeighborWorks Umpqua
*Amending the City’s zoning map for a parcel of land on West Harvard Avenue from Community Commercial to General Commercial
Bids for a number of improvement projects were awarded as well. The council meeting lasted just under ninety minutes.
