Governor Kate Brown announced Thursday that she is accepting applications for a judicial vacancy on the Sherman County Justice Court.
The vacancy was created by the planned retirement of Judge Ron McDermid, which will be effective July 31st.
The Governor thanked Judge McDermid for his dedicated judicial service, and announced that she will fill the position by appointment.

Completed forms must be emailed to Shevaun Gutridge no later than 5:00 p.m. April 25th.
Governor Brown is encouraging applications from individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
