The Roseburg Police Department used a stun gun on a 38-year-old Roseburg man who reportedly had entered a construction site and refused to leave Tuesday night.

RPD says Andrew Atterbury wandered into a half-constructed duplex in the 200 block of Northeast College Avenue just before 8 p.m. When confronted by officers, Atterbury allegedly refused to leave the residence, believing he owned the property.

Atterbury resisted arrest and officers used a drive stun technique to subdue him, according to the Roseburg Police report.

Atterbury is lodged in the Douglas County Jail on charges of first degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest. His bail is set at $12,500.
