A 24-year-old man from Mexico was arrested by Roseburg Police early Monday on charges of menacing in a parking lot in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street.

RPD reports that Angel Sanchez Nuno was seen holding a knife above his head in a throwing position around 12:25 a.m. A Roseburg woman reportedly saw Nuno acting strangely and thought he was going to throw the knife at her.

Nuno was lodged in the Douglas County jail and is being held on $6,250 bail.
