Loggers Tap House will be leaving the Roseburg Marketplace and moving to a site on Stephens Street, though an exact location has not yet been announced.
The change comes after recently opening a second outlet in Winston, with long-term places to have a Loggers as part of a larger development near the Winchester Dam.
A release from Loggers Marketing Team said with the move, the restaurant plans to shift their service style to that found at the Winston location. The company notes that its pizza has been voted the best in Douglas County since 2013.
Loggers said when it reached the end of its current lease in January, mall owners asked if they wanted to extend their lease “long-term”. Loggers said it wanted to stay at the current site for another year while it follows through on its expansion plans. The release said the Roseburg Marketplace had the opportunity to bring in a national chain restaurant, so that wasn’t possible.
The new location in Roseburg will have a large outdoor dining area with two new food carts to compliment Logger’s pizza: A Hawaiian food cart and a dedicated gluten-free street tacos cart. Loggers will still have pizza and wings on the menu, with the site also being an official tasting room for Old 99 Brewing.
The current location at the Roseburg Marketplace will close after March 27th. Logger’s hopes to open the new site by May 1st.
