COVID-19 CLAIMS 15 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,869, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 15 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,869, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 411 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 699,362.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 261, which is 10 fewer than on Thursday. There are 40 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 fewer than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*107 in Multnomah County

*40 in Washington County

*32 in Lane County

*30 in Deschutes County
