COVID-19 CLAIMS 29 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,800

COVID-19 has claimed 29 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,800, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 470 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 698,564.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 270, which is 21 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 55 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 more than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*93 in Multnomah County

*50 in Washington County

*46 in Lane County

*40 in Marion County
