CHI Mercy Medical Center recently honored their longest serving volunteer.

Mercy said that Helen Hilgers is marking her 60th year volunteering at the hospital. Hilgers has been given an upgraded parking sign and her own parking spot. Mercy said Hilgers 6 decades of service calculates out to 43,205 hours, which is equivalent to $922,439.20 of value to the hospital.
