COVID-19 CLAIMS 4 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,582, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,582, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 981 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 692,261.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 is 527, which is 1 fewer than on Thursday. There are 98 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 7 fewer than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*152 in Multnomah County

*122 in Washington County

*94 in Lane County

*88 in Marion County
