Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged burglary on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 1900 block of Southeast Stephens for a report of multiple windows being broken out. Officers contacted the 37-year old suspect and learned that he had allegedly entered the business through a back door. The man then reportedly stole a chair and broke the large front window out of the business.

He was taken into custody and charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $100,000.
