CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD WORK STUDY SESSION WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The Roseburg City Council will hold a work study meeting Wednesday night.

A release said councilors will discuss possible uses of American Rescue Plan Act Funding. Ultimately the City will receive just over $5 million in ARPA funding. The first half of that came in August of 2021. The City has until the end of 2024 to obligate the funds. The money must all be spent by the end of 2026.

Councilors will go over a management team proposal for how to spend the funds.

The meeting will be held via Zoom. It will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook page and available to watch later at www.cityofroseburg.org.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
